When it comes to summer accessories, I think a lot of us omit these elements of style because it’s so crazy hot in Texas and we don’t want a lot of additional “stuff” around to maintain, making us even hotter. So today, I’m simplifying the summer accessory game by showing you a few of my favorites from Karadise Boutique to make summer style functional and fashionable, starting with bags fit for both patios and beaches.
These printed canvas beach bags come in a variety of colors (light pink, dark pink, and turquoise) and lay completely flat when empty which is easy to pack! The soft burlap straps sit comfortably on your shoulder when toting towels, sunscreen, a change of clothes, a book and whatever else you like to have pool or beachside. They make for an excellent size carryon as well if you’re going to be traveling at all this summer. Each bag is printed with a golden damask print.
Don’t forget the Made in the Shade wide brim hat! These come in taupe (shown) and mocha. Each hat is woven with metallic threads and a braided vegan suede band. Everyone needs a floppy hat to protect your skin and scalps from scorching summer sunshine. I also love (and own) this Panama Hat that is about is adorable as they come!
A Sunny Side Tote is another option when needing a beach style bag for the summer. This one is just a touch more “dressy” than the printed canvas beach bag, but essentially can function the same. Not only does the Sunny Side Tote come in both black and beige, but it has a top zipper that I love. Anyone else here get frustrated when all your stuff falls out the second you set your bag down. This tote can certainly be used at the beach or pool, but is chic enough to use as an everyday handbag. I especially love the black one!
The round wicker shoulder bag comes in both terra (shown) and cloud. The geometric shape combined with the ease of a crossbody truly makes this handbag a gem! Plus it pairs easily with dresses, shorts, skirts, and jeans. When I was young, my mother always said your purse should be big enough to carry lipstick, a quarter (for the payphone) and some cash. Nowadays a cell has replaced the quarter, but the rule still applies. Luckily, this bag passes the test.
Now, let’s touch on summer jewelry for a second. I say, keep it simple and lightweight. A simple puka shell or beaded anklet accentuates a shimmery summer tan.
Wear a “stack” of colorful bracelets with bright tassels for additional pop. The best thing about these at Karadise is they look like a stack, but it’s really just one bracelet, making accessorizing a breeze!
And finally, a simple beaded necklace like this one has just the right amount of color and neutral so it can be paired with basically anything.
Don’t neglect your summer accessories just because it’s hot. Head over to Karadise today (or order online) to stock up on these darling additions to your wardrobe.
