From the desk of Lauren Palmer
Good morning McKinney!
Today I want to introduce you to Pool Scouts, McKinney’s newest pool service company that is putting the P back in the pool…Professionalism!
Friends, I met Pool Scouts owner, John Breton, through my membership with the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, and have so enjoyed getting to see first-hand how seriously he takes the professionalism of his company. He, wife Anna, and daughter Genevieve moved to McKinney two years ago from Atlanta for Anna’s job.
John made the choice to leave his tenured career in digital marketing in favor of opening Pool Scouts in early 2018, “I always loved my pool as a child,” John told me. “So many of our family memories are around the pool.” Now that he lives here in Texas, he knows how important pools are to its residents, “Texas is the perfect place for outdoor living, whether swimming in the pool, or reading a book beside it, Texans love their pools!” John saw an opportunity to serve his neighbors by freeing up their time and providing a quality pool service that allows his customers to truly enjoy their pools. Pool Scouts opened their doors in May of 2018 and is proud to serve over 50 clients in McKinney alone.
Pool Scouts offers several different programs to keep your pool sparkling. Pool cleanings, water chemistry-stabilization, equipment checks, repairs, and inspections for those purchasing a home with an existing pool are all customized services provided by Pool Scouts. Their specialized “Green to Clean” service turns an algae-ridden pool into an ocean-like oasis. Before and after photos are documented at each servicing, providing a transparent and professional approach to the pool service industry. Pool Scouts uses Spin Lab Tests, a scientific way to check and balance water chemistry. John assured me, “Balance equals healthy.”
A dedicated office manager with a high level of customer service experience is always available to take calls, and her previous experience working for both the Ritz-Carlton and Chick-fil-a qualifies her to take care of every need you might have. Plus, she is live and local. No automated or overseas answering service in sight.
The technicians working with Pool Scouts are background checked and trained by John and his partner, both Certified Pool Operators (and MBAs!) The team completes continuing education hours each year. Pool Scouts holds liability insurance up to $1 million dollars and has access to the Pool Scouts Headquarters as a resource for any issue.
Friends, if you are ready to enjoy your pool again; if you are sick of failed attempts at balancing the water; if your beautiful pool has become a giant headache may I suggest reaching out to Pool Scouts and allow them to take the stress out of your life! Also…if you mention TAOLB, you receive 50% off your first month’s service! Why not call them today?
thank you Pool Scouts for sponsoring this post.
