If you want to be picking fresh, ripe tomatoes from now until Thanksgiving, now is the time to plant your favorite variety! The warm soil will prompt quick growth and by the time the plants are mature enough to blossom, the night time temperatures will have dipped below 75°–the perfect temp to encourage flowering. The plants will begin to set fruit once the fall rains begin.
