With owning a luxury culinary excursion company, A Taste of Paris, travel is something I do each year, and I do it often. As a result, I’ve made my trips across the globe down to a science, and know exactly what must-haves make each trip comfortable and stylish!

Classic Blazer

Classic Blazer– I always travel with a classic blazer in navy blue or black.  You never know when you might need to dress up an outfit or ward off chilly temperatures.  The J. Crew Regent is my favorite blazer; its long, clean lines help keep my look crisp.

Lightweight Umbrella

Lightweight Umbrella- I always expect sunshine but never travel without a lightweight, compact umbrella.  Nothing dampens a good time like cold wet rain so keep it off of you with one of these!

Hopper– Hopper is a travel app that helps YOU get the very best price on airfare. I recommend the Hopper App to all of my travelers joining me in France. Just pop in the dates of travel and preferred carrier and when prices on airfare dip, you get alerts!

Travel Snack Mix

Travel Snack Mix-Travel Snack Mix is always in my carryon no matter where I am headed.  This simple combination of nuts and dried fruits has seen me through many snack attacks.  Packed with protein and no added salt makes it a perfect go-to for travel. A healthy palmful works as a quick breakfast on longer trips and lets me look forward to lunch! Click here for recipe.

Lip Balm

Lip Balm-When traveling, dehydration is a problem and that can leave you with dry, chapped lips.  I never leave home without L’Occitane Organic Shea Butter to sooth and smooth lips.

Sweatshirt- A sweatshirt is one essential I never leave home without. I don’t like to be cold and having a sweatshirt allows me to layer up and feel comfy and cozy once I am in for the night. An oversized sweatshirt is a fantastic coverup for off season beach trips too!
