Hello and happy Friday to you!
Today I am linking up with my friend Erika to bring you my top five favorites from this past week.
first favorite:
I started a new Bible Study this week and we are reading this book called Break and Wine by Shauni Niequist.
Bread & Wine is a collection of essays about family relationships, friendships, and the meals that bring us together. This mix of Anne Lamott and Barefoot Contessa is a funny, honest, and vulnerable spiritual memoir. Bread & Wine is a celebration of food shared, reminding readers of the joy found in a life around the table. It’s about the ways God teaches and nourishes people as they nourish the people around them. It’s about hunger, both physical and otherwise, and the connections between the two.
I’m loving reading this book so far and am enjoying the not-so-typical Bible study format.
second favorite:
Caleb Matthew left on Wednesday for Disney World with Brian’s parents–they take the grandkids for their 5th birthday. They have been sending me pictures of Caleb and I love seeing how happy he is to be there. Caleb at Disney is a favorite.
third favorite:
Y’all I haven’t talked much about the new Stella & Dot spring line but can I tell you it is GORGEOUS!! I hope you will check out my website and do some spring shopping. Here are a few of my favorite pieces:
fourth favorite:
When we were flying home from Padre last month I watched a movie called Scents and Sensiblity on Amazon Prime…y’all sooo cute. It is based on Jane Austen’s book Sense and Sensibility but is set during present day, and as an easy to watch little love story. If you find yourself folding piles of laundry, put this on while you fold.
fifth favorite:
Since Caleb was out of town at Disney, James and I had a special day at The Dallas World Aquarium and then to Klyde Warren Park for lunch at the food trucks. Very rarely is it ever just the two of us, so this day was definitely a favorite.
Have a fantastic weekend friends!
I just started reading Bread and Wine!!! I’m loving it so far! And I bet James loved his little day out!
I bet Caleb is loving life at Disney 🙂 Sweet for you and James to have a little day out. I need to check out that movie – it looks cute! Have a good weekend!

I am so excited about this movie. I love Jane Austin.
The book looks really good too. Have you ever read simple abundance. I read it every few years as a pick me up. It is a little old fashioned.
I enjoy reading your blog.
Ahhh I love that your little is at Disney with the grandparents. My mom and her husband are wanting to take our kids and I was like – please do! I’m not a Disney mama ha! Loving the format of that Bible study. Have a fabulous weekend.
