I’m linking up with my friend Erika to bring you my top 5 favorites from the week!
My military vest from Sam’s
Every once in a while I publish a post lovingly referred to “Cool Stuff I Found at Sam’s.” Its a favorite around here–and I’ll admit I REALLY like perusing the aisles at my favorite warehouse club for fantastic (and economical!) treasures.
Yesterday I published my first CSIFS in almost a year. My favorite find this go round? This military vest!!!
Live eucalyptus wreath from Trader Joe’s
At Trader Joe’s this week I picked up two of these live eucalyptus/pumpkin wreaths for our outdoor dining area. They smell so good and add an organic-fallish vibe to my favorite room in the house, the patio. Only $13.99!!
The Witch’s Brunch is TOMORROW!!
Each October I host a Witch’s Brunch for all my favorite Witchy friends. I set my tables, make pumpkin soup and prepare myself for a day of laughter with all my favorites that I am blessed to call friends. Here is a sneak peek of one of this year’s table settings I posted on Instagram.

My friend and sometimes photog, Corrie Barto, was asked to photograph the style section of Allen Image magazine, and she brought me along as the stylist and story teller. Staying true to my Style Wheel Big Deal roots, I took one garment (the mustard-floral top shown above) and show multiple ways to style it. Stuck Bible Study by Jennie Allen
TAOLB’s very first post was published on June 4, 2014. Twenty days later I posted an article entitled I can’t do this without you, where I describe a mommy-scenario that was a very typical part of my day back then. I also write about a Bible Study called Stuck I had recently completed, and I am happy to tell you I am actually doing it again with a group of girls from my neighborhood. It has opened my eyes all over again and is helping me see places in my life that I truly am stuck, places I hadn’t really noticed until now.
Stuck is one of my favorites this week. Thank you to Jennie Allen for writing it years ago, and if you are looking for a fantastic Bible study, may I recommend Stuck. It truly leads to change and healing.
Happy weekend lovelies!
