The love month is here and you are going to love what we have in store on The Art of Living Beautifully.

First of all, I am excited to announce a fun partnership between The Art of Living Beautifully and one of my favorite boutiques in McKinney, Karadise Boutique! Don’t worry to those of you who aren’t local…they ship! Karadise is a clothing, accessories, and gift boutique that opened last spring and has really fun items at excellent prices. Make sure you are following me on Instagram and join my Facebook Group to see my favorite items each month! Remember this sweater? It’s from Karadise!!

And so is this favorite jean jacket that I wear All.The.Time!!

Go ahead and find Karadise on Instagram and Facebook too! And stay tuned for some of my favorite gift and clothing items at Karadise.

Regarding Valentine’s Day…any plans? Not sure what Brian and I are doing yet but I know this is on the menu…

The Chocolate Martini

Lorie shared this recipe with us last year and it was such a hit, I’m re-sharing it on Thursday for those of you who are new around here. This is a DELICIOUS little cocktail that is perfect for toasting with your Valentine! (Guys love it too–I mean it has Oreos, so…)

A few weeks ago, my friend and favorite makeup artist Erin Blair, invited celebrity makeup artist Daniel Blaylock, to bring his expertise to McKinney and train her team. Y’all Daniel did makeup for Fuller House, and is currenty Stephanie Hollman’s makeup artist from The Real Housewives of Dallas. His trademarked “Dallifornia” look brings with it Dallas glam mixed with an effortless California cabana vibe. Erin asked me to attend (sans makeup) and be Daniel’s blank canvas for the day. Obviously I said “yes!” and spent the morning learning from a pro! Stay tuned to hear about some of his favorite products and makeup tips!

For Personal Culture building this month, I want to take a look at Exodus 20:13 and how its application is such an important part of our day-to-day lives. Exodus 20:13 should be in our thoughts with everyone we meet, speak with, come in contact with, interact with. If we can make Exodus 20:13 second nature, the world would change. I’ll save you some time. Exodus 20:13 says “Thou shall not murder.”

Stay tuned.

And happy February!
