The ever [re] evolving door into the fashion world reminds me of an essential artist’s tool, the color wheel; a visual representation of colors arranged according to their chromatic relationship. The concept of color relationships is my most favorite of favorite things, and plays a large part in how I chose to face the world each day in regards to my fashion choices. Complementary colors are pairings found directly across from each other on the color wheel, and provide the other with the greatest amount of contrast, and therefore greatest amount of reinforcement. I love to let the yin and yang factor make the fashion statement as opposed to a trendy print or wrists full of sparkly accessories.
Color is a beautiful addition to personal style. It makes us look younger and happier and EVERYBODY needs more of it.
The purest and most thoughtful minds are those which love color the most.–John Ruskin, The Stones of Venice
