Happy Wednesday to you and welcome to my link to What I Wore Wednesday with the Pleated Poppy!
I don’t want to scare you with the idea of wearing head-to-toe denim, but I really think you should wear head-to-toe denim. This look is the ultimate in casual comfort with a Southwest kicker in the form of one of my favorite former Style Wheel Big Deals, The Shearling Vest, and a pair of fantastical fringe booties from The Style House Attic. Which are no longer available. So sorry.
The vest easily breaks up the monotony of denim and introduces a beautiful copper color.
If you haven’t ordered your Tribal Necklace, please stop what you are doing and order one right this second! The tassels are genuine leather and they even un-clip from the top bar leaving you with a simple finish-the-look necklace. Who doesn’t love a two-fer??
For the day I traded in my typical skinny jean uniform, and instead opted for flares–remember when we talked about them back in November. These are comfortable while still being en-trend, and the faded wash contrasts beautifully with the shearling.
The most INGENIOUS bag in the world, my favorite Get-away, has a cool tropical indigo ikat pattern, that somehow doubles as a Santa Fe-esque novelty. Don’t stress about your wardrobe today, friends. Jeans on top, jeans on the bottom, and a bit of shearing in the middle.
