From the desk of Lauren Palmer

Friends, last year at this time I reviewed Awaken Sleeping Beauty, a book written by McKinney resident Judy Pogue. This book is a faith-shifting, wake-up call encouraging women to start living the exciting, blessed, and purposeful life God has planned specifically for them. If you are looking to change your life, to adjust your perspective, to find happiness and purpose, you must order a copy of Awaken Sleeping Beauty today. Do not wait.

After I read the book last year, I attended The Awaken Conference. This event was hosted by Judy and was held in celebration of this wake-up call from the Lord to all women. Friends, my faith was strengthened and some of my shabby parts healed. The assembly of speakers imparted tremendous wisdom and experience, providing hope to every person in attendance. I could not have felt more blessed or spiritually fed.

This year, I am absolutely thrilled to announce The Awaken Conference is back with an entirely new ensemble ready to speak truth and help awaken the “Sleeping Beauties” of the world. And friends, you may be sleeping…I certainly was!

International songstress Julissa Rivera will be returning to lead praise and worship. The keynote speaker, Jill Donovan (founder of Rustic Cuff) is a sought-after motivational speaker who encourages people to pursue their passions, fulfill their God-given purpose, and always pay it forward. Jackie Green, a member of the founding family of Hobby Lobby and Museum of the Bible in Washington DC, will also be giving her testimony, sharing some of the tragedies and triumphs her family has faced.

Friends, I am especially excited to share that yours truly (that’s right, me!) will be moderating a panel of ladies on stage who wish to bring all of you hope and a few survival tips to successfully navigate the various roles women play. I am truly honored to attend, let alone be a part of The Awaken Conference. I hope you will join us! The conference will be Friday, February 22 from 6-9 at the Courtyard Marriot in Allen! Dinner is included in the price of your ticket.

Seating is very limited, so I encourage you make time right now to visit this link – – and purchase your ticket today. Better yet, let’s sit together! Shoot me an email when you purchase your ticket and I will add you to my table.
