Good morning, friends!
Forgive my lack in communication over the past few weeks. It was my plan to continue blogging while we traveled throughout the month, but to be honest, once we got on vacation, staring at a computer screen wasn’t as appealing as I imagined it would be. 😉 Instead, I was doing this:
I have a few things to tell you.
First of all I apologize for falling short on Easter inspiration. Will you believe that I actually set two Easter tables, and somehow didn’t get either of them photographed?? Gah! Here is a snap of the first one I set-china, crystal salad plates and Easter grass on purple leather placemats. Love!
Second, I have not yet posted my story of being an egg donor for my cousin, Laura. This is something I’m working on still, and will publish it as soon as its ready. I truly can’t wait for you to read it. It is one of the best experiences of my life.
Third: So my job that began as a way to pay for this job (Stella & Dot) has grown into much more of a business than I anticipated it ever would. Last week, I received a promotion to Associate Director. As a result, I have had to do some thinking about how to proceed with TAOLB. I am not at all giving it up, however as my Stella responsibilities grown the less time I have here. In one million years, I never would have imagined how much I love my Stella job. Never. In. One. Million. Years. I love this job and it has brought me so much joy.
Incidently, Stella and Dot is having a sign-up special this month like I have never seen. Typically when you sign up, it costs $199 and you receive $350 in free jewelry to help build your samples. If you sign up in April, you receive $750 in FREE JEWELRY!! Is this not insanity!??? If you are at all curious about the logistics, or what the life of a stylist really entails, please shoot me an email. Lauren[at]theartoflivingbeautifully.net. I am more than happy to share with you some of my Stella and Dot joy. To read about it on this blog, you can click here, here and here.
And just a few things launching this week:
Thats all I have for you today friends!
